Medicare Advantage for Everyone (HMO)
You can get a Medicare Advantage Plan, sometimes called “Medicare Part C” or “MA,” from a private insurance company if you already have Medicare Parts A and B.
In Texas, Superior HealthPlan Medicare Advantage (HMO) plans are available with $0 premium, $0 deductible and $0 Primary Care Provider (PCP) copays through Superior HealthPlan. The government pays Superior HealthPlan to provide your Medicare benefits so your costs are minimal.
Our Medicare Advantage plans offer additional benefits for no additional premium. You get coverage for prescription drugs, vision care and a gym membership. You also get 24/7 access to a nurse through the nurse advice line. Now you don’t have to wait until the morning to get answers to urgent questions you might have about a sudden illness or injury.
In addition to your prescription drug benefits, you will also receive a monthly allowance for commonly used drug store items through our OTC drug store benefit.
Once you enroll, Superior HealthPlan Medicare Advantage will provide all of your Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) coverage as well as Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Plan).
When you choose a Medicare Advantage Plan from Superior HealthPlan, you will find that it:
- Gives you all of the same coverage as Original Medicare (both Parts A and B)
- Also has extra benefits such as vision care, and hearing exams
- Includes Medicare prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D)
